During his 5-3 victory, O’Sullivan wasn’t at his demolition best but still provided a moment of what some claimed was utter brilliance.<br/><br/>Leading 2-1 at the time, the 48-year-old was cruising to clinch the fourth frame with just the blue and pink ball left on the table and White only scoring two points. O’Sullivan lined up a shot on the blue with the pink potentially blocking a way to the furthestmost pocket.<br/><br/>His shot saw the blue bounce off either side of the pocket before ricocheting back up to the other end of the table. The ball then bounced off two cushions and rolled into the open middle pocket – bringing cheers and applause from spectators and a smile across the face of the Rocket.<br/><br/>Although the commentator was skeptical about the Rocket’s shot, saying: “Quite amazing that that got the biggest cheer that we’ve heard that outrageous fluke.”<br/><br/>Fans on social media took a different view of O’Sullivan’s pot, one comment on Twitter said: “Genius at work,” while a second lauded: “The Master!”<br/><br/>Despite taking a 3-1 lead following that frame, O’Sullivan surrendered his advantage before trying to close out the match 4-3. The 48-year-old was visibly frustrated with himself.<br/><br/>He missed a long-range effort which would have left him in pole position to claim victory. The seven-time world champion bashed his cue down on the side of the table in anger, making a loud bang inside the venue.<br/><br/>The Rocket will face China’s Hoatian Lyu in the last 16 of the competition on Wednesday as he looks to land the £170,000 tournament cash prize. _three-dolphins-spotted-in-river-13-miles-from-the-sea-in-lincolnshire.webp "A pod of dolphins have been spotted playing in a river 13 miles from the sea in Lincolnshire.<br/><br/>Madi Corby and her partner Sam Wibberley, both 22, were walking their dogs along the edge of the River Welland, near Spalding, when they saw three fins in the water.<br/><br/>Video taken by Sam on Tuesday (19/3) afternoon shows the animals gliding along the surface of the water by a set of flood gates.<br/><br/>Professional dog walker Madi said: “It was an amazing experience and still stunned that I got to see them.<br/><br/>“I’m a dog walker and have my own business so always out walking dogs but was walking my own four dogs at the time with my partner.<br/><br/>“They dolphins obviously just swam down from the sea which is about 13 miles up stream but they couldn’t get past the flood gates so they must have swam back. <br/><br/>“We watched them play for about ten minutes. It was incredible to see them playing so close to us.”<br/><br/>Dolphins can measure up to 2.5 metres long and weigh up to 235kg and usually are found to be living in deep water.<br/><br/>Up to 29 species of cetaceans, which include dolphins and whales, have been sighted in the UK and Ireland since 2000.<br/><br/>Common dolphins are an offshore species, but often come close to shore to feed, according to The Wildlife Trusts.<br/><br/>Bottlenose dolphins and harbour porpoises are the two species which are regularly seen. A seal was recently spotted at nearby Baston Fen too.<br/><br/>The River Welland has been running at low levels further into town as part of the Environment Agency’s bid to help the flooded Cowbit and Crowland Washes recover after a bank collapsed earlier this year.")
